Steven Mittelman is the principal of NSW Building Design, with 20 years' experience in residential design and documentation across Australia and France — including formal architectural training at the École Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture de Paris-Belleville.

For over a decade, Steven ran an independent residential design practice, working directly with clients from concept through approvals, documentation and construction. That experience spans everything from extensions and renovations to high-end residential projects and dual occupancies, always with a focus on designs that are well-resolved, approval-ready, and genuinely buildable.
